Women in Leadership
Talking about my career and creative journey with National Literacy Trust x Lancôme
What does it mean to build trust and taste for brands?
Born in Manila with a name often mistaken for an alias, I lived in Barcelona before calling London home in 2015 and every year since.
My career began at the intersection of creativity and commerce, art directing campaigns at global agencies McCann, Leo Burnett, and TBWA. I trained in creative strategy and campaign development for brands like Coca Cola, Samsung, and HÄagen-Dazs.
I brought these skills with me to lead at London startups whose missions I shared: Provenance champions sustainability in food and fashion, and Mrs Wordsmith scales access to creative learning.
Once I started designing for independent brands, the work spanned continents. My logo for Michelin-starred Filipino restaurant Toyo received a Graphis International Award in NYC. My design for Italian heritage brand Alberto Guardiani earned features in Vogue, Elle, Vanity Fair, Grazia, FT Weekend, i-D Magazine, and Numéro across multiple languages.
Beyond lifestyle, I contributed to UNICEF's toolbox for responsible design, and women's leadership through the National Literacy Trust and Lancôme.
Building trust and taste for brands allows me to support founders and teams that inspire communities, celebrate culture, and champion great design.
